HAuNTcon 2019 Features Interactive Panel Discussion, “Successful Creative Brainstorming: Lead Your Team to Better Ideas,” on How to Create Effective Brainstorming Sessions

Valencia, CA (January 21, 2019)  — At this year’s HAuNTcon event, which takes place from January 25-27, 2019 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Patron Technology is sponsoring an interactive panel discussion entitled, “Successful Creative Brainstorming: Lead Your Team to Better Ideas.” This discussion is from noon until 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 26, at the Haunted Trends Main Stage and focuses on specific strategies to foster a brainstorming session that generates novel ideas for your attraction.
“Attention is the scarcest resource in our battle for customers. Without a novel and differentiated concept for your event, attention is difficult to win. However, generating novel ideas can be a struggle and leave teams feeling frustrated and desperate. Brainstorming is difficult, but it’s a skill every team can learn,” states Philip Hernandez, CEO of Gantom Lighting & Controls and moderator of the discussion.

Panelists include industry icons Dalton Dale, J. Michael Roddy, Scott Swenson, and Joel Talacko.

Dalton Dale is the founder of Big Dreamer Productions, an international company based in New York City and London that specializes in commercial theater and immersive horror experiences. J. Michael Roddy has been involved in the entertainment industry for more than 25 years, writing and producing award-winning entertainment for Walt Disney Entertainment, Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Orlando Resort, and Anheuser-Busch Entertainment, among others. Scott Swenson has brought stories to life as a writer, director, producer, and performer for more than 30 years; he was part of the original development team and the creative leader for the first 15 years of Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa, and he was the writer and creative director for The Vault of Souls. Joel Talacko has designed more than 70 attractions as a haunted attraction and event designer including Recycle, Child’s Eye, Rigor Mortis, AMC’s The Walking Dead, and Doreamon.

This powerhouse panel promises to offer illuminating insights on what to bring to brainstorming sessions to generate novel ideas.
