2011 Make & Take Classes
We are excited to announce this year’s “Make & Take” Classes. In each of these hands-on workshops, attendees will be provided all materials and instructed step by step through the process of building a prop or special effect. Then, at the conclusion of the class, attendees get to take what they create home with them. Techniques learned in the classes can then be used by the attendees on future projects.
These classes are very close to selling out!
Additional orders will now only be accepted ONLY onsite at registration.
Spooky Flickering Light Circuit – Make-N-Take 1
Friday 9-10am
By Bill Ramsay
Ramsay will instruct attendees on the construction and assembly of a next generation flicker circuit, and will show how to use it to make lights quickly flicker or sputter at random. He will also demonstrate how to vary the bulb’s output brightness. This unit has two separate circuits so that two different lights can be side by side in a room (or even in one fixture) and flash at different rates, to imitate an old faulty wiring system or the handiwork of mischievous spirits. Students will take home a fully functioning dual flicker circuit adapter. Materials fee is required.
