  1. I’ll start!! The Waverly Hills Sanitarium is not far from the hotel and I plan on this being part of the preshow tour in 2011. My question for you is, do we tour the massive creepy old building with the body chute in the daytime when we can get LOTS of great photos of the place, OR do we tour it at night… In the dark… when we might get a chance to experience some paranormal activity and see some GHOSTS!!!

    Lights on or LIGHTS OFF?!?!?

  2. Fear Fair, Dent Schoolhouse, and Haunted Hotel. Waverly Hills is fun and cool to look at, but could be not as fun doing a ghost hunt with lots of people in the same building. If I were to pay money for a ghost hunt, I would like to be in a small group of people on an uncrowded day. The tour is definitely better at night, though.

  3. Psychomania Theater Of Terror, is located at the Greentree Mall 5 Min from downtown Louisville. It has 12,000 square Ft. which makes it the largest indoor haunt in Kentuckyana. It is located in an abandoned movie theater.wwwtheaterofterror.com . There is a large lobby and plenty of paved parking spots, somewhat of like 15,000. that should accommodate any amount of people.

  4. You guys really need to check out Psychomaina… ( theaterofterror.com ) in Clarksville In. right down the road from down town Louisville.. When you first walk in it will take you back in time where you can see all the details that the workers have put many hours in createing the look of a really old movie theater.. But its just something to fool you trust me when go thur that door be ready to jump because they have put in so many hours in to make you scream… We hope you will look at all the room there is for parking and with one of the largest huants under one roof its worth comeing out… Please give it a look.. trust me its really scary…

  5. Turn the tour into an event itself with the Danger Run. Check out all the local haunts and have fun getting there with an event like no other in the world. Danger Run is one of the premier haunted attractions in the Louisville area attracting around 12,000 customers annually and would be a fantastic way for HauntCon guests to find their way to each of the haunts included on the tour. The great thing about Danger Run is that it is designed in such a way that guests do NOT have to be familiar with the area at all to play the game. We could even come up with some special HauntCon prizes for those that finish with the most accurate milage. Check out a free test drive @ http://www.dangerrun.com/virtual-danger-run/ to get an idea of how the game is played. Everyone is sure to love it!

  6. I vote for Wolf Creek Haunted Forest in Shepherdsville, Ky.

  7. i vote a 2nd year haunt wolf creek haunted forest in shepherdsville ky

  8. You have to include Fear Fair in Seymour, IN.

  9. The tour needs to have Fear Fair in Seymour Indiana and Dent Haunted School in Cincinnati Ohio. Two great haunts.

  10. I would like to see em tour around. Being a person who is an actor of Dent.
I love hearing people want to see the show. Ask Bud, Chuck and Josh, the owners,
about it see how they feel about it.

I would like to see alot of haunts like Fear Fair, Wolf Creek, Psychomania, Waverley
USS Nightmare, Sandy Land Acres, Dent and jammed back of great haunts this area.
As fan too I want too see all types of haunts, acting styles, Stage design ect
Every Haunt should open themselfs to these types of tours It did wounders for Dent 2 years ago when we had the MHC tours. We still hear people talking about it.

  11. Defiantly Fear Fair should be on the list.

  12. Fear Fair in Seymour, IN is the real deal. The amount of prep work put in is amazing and the results speak (or should I say SCREAM) for themselves. It is not to be missed!

  13. Absolutely no doubt about this one. FearFair Haunted House in Seymour, IN is a must see for any haunted house enthusiast, as well as the Dent School House in Cincinnati, OH.

  14. Definitely @FearFair that place is like the fantasy factory of haunts! and also wolf creek (diff directions i know but also diff takes on a haunt indoor/outdoor)

  15. I definatly vote for Fear Fair in Seymour,IN and Dent School House in Cincinnati Ohio!

  16. Please add Fearfair from Seymour, IN on your tour.

  17. It would be great to see Wolf Creek Haunted Forest on your tour. They are a new (2nd year this coming season) attraction in Louisville. Wolf Creek is an outdoor haunt, which in my opinion are a little more scary than the indoor attractions. They combine characters from your favorite horror films with woodland monsters for a great “never know what’s around the corner” experience. Looking forward to you being in Louisville!

  18. You most def need to have FearFair in Seymour, IN on the tour. That place is the best haunted house around, so different then most. They do such a wonderful job with all the details. They pour their heart and souls into that place every year, and it shows!! Once you go you will never find another haunted house to compare it to. They are just above and beyond everyone else in my book!!

  19. Psychomania is right down the road from everything its less than 5-6 mins from downtown and we are the biggest indoor haunt in the area using all 12,000 square feet for fear and terror. who ever is in charge of choosing the haunts all i ask is to stop by and check us out. i can personally say that everything in this haunt is on key and killer. i have personally helped build and design almost everything you will see with a lot of help from some dedicated workers and actors. Thanks and i hope to see everybody in 2011…… lead engineer and resident stilt walker Chad Kern

  20. Okay everyone, heres the deal….if you are going to Haunt Con, why not take a little trip over to Clarksville, IN. Its not that far away and trust me, it will be worth it….why you ask…well because of Psychomania Theater Of Terror!! This place is off the charts when it comes to details, I know one of the workers personally and she is VERY dedicated to this Haunt, it will knock your socks off!! If you would like to swing by there is lots of room for parking, and you wont regret making the trip. Trust me, I came all the way from California to see this haunt, it was well worth the time to go. here is a link to the website…i urge you to check it out!! http://www.theaterofterror.com Go now!!! P.S. Happy Haunting!!!

  22. I think Wolf Creek Haunted Forest is a must for outdoor haunted attractions for Hauntcon in the Louisville, KY area. And I am sure you will see more votes for it also. Our 70+ acre area that is located on an old anbandoned golf course is littered with creatures from the dark. Our first year we had 2 months to prepare and was still one of the most sucessful haunts in the area. With a full year to plan, we have some big things in the works. We were also selected as one of only 2 haunts to represent Danger Run for the 2010 season. Check us out at WolfCreekHauntedForest.com

  23. Eldon at the Haunted Hotel-13th Floor in Huntington, Indiana invites HAuNTcon 2011 to add us to the tours. We ask Leonard to make it an I-69 tour, Haunted Hotel-13th Floor, INDY ?, and FearFair !!! Check us out at http://www.HauntedHuntington.com

    • Thank you for your kind offer to be on the HauNTcon tour!! I love the video on the website and will have to check out your haunt some October. You may be a bit too far north for us to get to even on the preshow, but we will keep you in mind!

  24. Have to include Fear Fair! By far Indianas scariest haunted house.

  25. fear fair and dent school house. you will not be let down,no other haunt pays such attention to detail as these two!

  26. Psychomania is the best around, it’s just a quick drive across the bridge from Downtown Louisville, and the Larges Haunted Attraction in the Kentuckiana area. I am one of the actors/makeup artist/acting managers, and this year we WILL blow you guys out of the water!!! Besides, what other Haunted Attraction is built in a old abandoned theater? Come and check us out, see what we have to offer. We have started renovations to rebuild and make it more awesome! We have worked too long and hard for you guys to pass us up!!! Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania, Psychomania…. http://www.theaterofterror.com !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. I would say Psychomania, definately. It is way to awesome! Check it out! http://www.theaterofterror.com

  28. i would say the haunted hotel-13th floor is a good one it is freaky so check it out!
