ALEX VINCENT
Alex
Vincent was born in New Jersey in 1981. Alex is
best known for his role as Andy Barclay in Child's Play (1988)
and Child's Play 2 (1990), he was about five years
old at the time. In Childs play 3, Andy was scripted to be
16 years old and Alex was only 10 at the time, so the part
went to actor Justin Whalin . Alex did three
more movies after Childs Play but the films were
not very successful (certainly not Alex's fault, some reviewers
have stated, that "The best reason to watch the first and
second "Child's Play" movies is to see Alex!).
The last movie Alex was in was My Family Treasure, and
at the ripe old age of 13, Alex retired from acting. In high
school, it was difficult to live down the child star image
and two years later he decided to give acting another try.
After 15 unsuccessful auditions Alex decided to call it quits
for good and now is the keyboard player and lead singer for
the band, Perception !

WEDNESDAY 13
Wednesday 13 is the front man/vocalist of RoadRunner
Records recording artists, the Murderdolls .
Murderdolls' shock and glam image is mixed with their horror
influenced songs paying tribute to such films as the Exorcist , Dawn
of the Dead , and Phantasm to name a few.
Since the release of the Murderdolls debut album, Beyond
the Valley of the Murderdolls in 2002, the band toured
nonstop around the world spawning an army of die hard fans
they appropriately named "Ghoul-Scouts". They toured three
times through Japan, five times through Europe, and twice
through America; playing The Big Day Out Festival in
Australia, The Download Festival in the UK, Summer
Sonic Festival in Japan and were special headlining
guests at the Metal Hammer Awards . The bands horror
influenced sound and image captured the attention of Dawson's
Creek producers who asked the band to appear on the Halloween
episode of the hit show in 2002.
The band is currently visible in their recent video/single 'White Wedding,'
a cover of the classic Billy Idol hit. The song is featured on the CD/DVD
special edition of the Murderdolls debut Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls that
was released in October 2003. The band performed 'White Wedding' live on
the classic UK show Top of the Pops , and the single debuted at
#22 on the UK Charts. They were also featured on the 'Freddy Vs Jason' soundtrack
and the 'MTV2 Headbangers Ball' album.
Murderdolls have graced the covers of numerous magazines since
their debut in 2002. The band was voted as "Best
New Band" in major Rock publications worldwide
like Metal Edge, Metal Hammer, Kerrang, and Hit Parader and
most recently received "Readers and Critics Choice
for Best Single of 2003" for their cover of 'White
Wedding.'
Prior to the Murderdolls , Wednesday 13 was the front man/guitarist
of North Carolina's ghoulish, horrifying oddity the Frankenstein Drag
Queens from Planet 13 (FDQ). The band released four albums between
1996 and 2002, which are currently available through Century Media Records
in Europe, as well as numerous 7" singles on independent labels. Since the
Murderdolls release in 2002 (and the fact that a majority of Murderdolls debut
album contains songs from FDQ) the cult popularity of FDQ has risen from the
grave causing much demand for the albums and merchandise worldwide.
I n February 2004, Wednesday along with his wife, Mrs. 13 launched their merchandise, The
Thirteen Dead Kids , at the Magic Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The
Thirteen Dead Kids are ghoulishly adorable characters based on the
forthcoming book "The Thirteen Dead Kids and Other Gruesome Scary Tales" by
Wednesday 13. The Thirteen Dead Kids concept and vision is a product of years
of inspiration by the likes of "The Munsters" and other horror characters.
Each character was drawn and designed by Wednesday 13 and his wife, Mrs. 13.
Due to the worldwide success of the Murderdolls, Wednesday 13 has a built-in
fan base, among the music, horror, and b-movie community, who are already
expressing interest in The Thirteen Dead Kids . Unlike most
character based products, The Thirteen Dead Kids appeal
to both boys and girls ranging from preteen to adult. The interactive website
thirteendeadkids.com, which was launched on January 1, 2004, provides the
fans with more than just images. Each character has their own audio sample,
created and performed by Wednesday 13, as well as their very own Death Certificate.
The fans were given the ability to vote on which character they wish to see
next, so each week a character was revealed based on the input of the website
visitors. Additionally, The Thirteen Dead Kids have their
very own 'FANG CLUB' called "The Recently Deceased." Fans have
already joined The Recently Deceased by participating in the monthly
submission guidelines, which are both fun and creative. The already active
street and e-team, "The Casket Committee" is continuously
out there spreading the word, or as we say 'Spreading the Dead.'
The Thirteen Dead Kids have joined forces
with Cinder Block, Inc . as their exclusive
manufacturing and distribution company for apparel. Due to
the undying passion and creativity of Mr. and Mrs. Thirteen
plus the dedication and fan base for products such as The
Thirteen Dead Kids , these characters will resurrect
a life all their own.
Most recently, Wednesday 13 released a best of album titled, '6 Years, 6 Feet
Under the Influence' through Century Media/People Like You Records. In support
of this release, Wednesday 13 completed a very successful 10 date solo UK tour
in March 2004. Wednesday is now writing and planning to record his first solo
album and will be performing as a solo artist during 2004 and 2005 throughout
the USA, Europe, and Japan.
